Blessed be the holy Trinity,☩ one God, the God of manna, the God of miracles, the God of mercy. Amen. Drawn to Christ and seeking God’s abundance, let us confess our sin. Silence is kept for reflection. |
God, our provider,
help us. It is hard to believe there is enough to share. We question your ways when they differ from the ways of the world in which we live. We turn to our own understanding rather than trusting in you. We take offense at your teachings and your ways. Turn us again to you. Where else can we turn? Share with us the words of eternal life and feed us for life in the world. Amen |
Beloved people of God:
in Jesus, the manna from heaven, you are fed and nourished. By Jesus, the worker of miracles, there is always more than enough. Through Jesus, ☩ the bread of life, you are shown God’s mercy: you are forgiven and loved into abundant life. Amen. |

Father's Day is on Sunday, June 20. Please send a photo of your father (with or without you) to be shared during the service on that day.
We are hoping to also have some original art created by children in our congregation - portraits of their dads. If any of you would like to add to this collection, please scan or take a photo of your art and send it to Dani by the evening of Sunday, June 13 if possible.

OPERATION BEAUTIFICATION - GLORY LUTHERAN CHURCH:
God has blessed our congregation at Glory with a unique piece of His creation. With this comes a greater degree of responsibility. A number of tasks and projects have been identified that require our attention this spring and/or summer. As we know, “many hands make light work”, so Operation Beautification begins with a request for volunteers to help with one or more of these projects.
It would be wonderful to see the involvement of many members of our congregation in the care of all things outdoors at Glory!
This list is not all inclusive and additional tasks may be added over the course of the next few months.
Please read through the list that was emailed to you on Tuesday, May 25, or on our website (click here). If there is a task(s) that you would be willing to help with, please contact Heidi at 780-416-9594. Please note that office hours are Tuesday to Friday, from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm.
