Thank you for your continued support of our church.
Thank you for your continued support of our church.
Jesus, Bread of life, you have set this table with your very self, and called us to the feast of plenty.
Gather what has been sown among us, and strengthen us in this meal. Make us to be what we receive here, your body for the life of the world. Amen.

Prayers
The Lord's Prayer
Our Father, who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name;
thy kingdom come;
thy will be done;
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation;
but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom,
the power and the glory,
for ever and ever.
Amen.
hallowed be thy name;
thy kingdom come;
thy will be done;
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation;
but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom,
the power and the glory,
for ever and ever.
Amen.

OPERATION BEAUTIFICATION - GLORY LUTHERAN CHURCH:
God has blessed our congregation at Glory with a unique piece of His creation. With this comes a greater degree of responsibility. A number of tasks and projects have been identified that require our attention this spring and/or summer. As we know, “many hands make light work”, so Operation Beautification begins with a request for volunteers to help with one or more of these projects.
It would be wonderful to see the involvement of many members of our congregation in the care of all things outdoors at Glory!
This list is not all inclusive and additional tasks may be added over the course of the next few months.
Please read through the list that was emailed to you on Tuesday, May 25, or on our website (click here). If there is a task(s) that you would be willing to help with, please contact Heidi at 780-416-9594. Please note that office hours are Tuesday to Friday, from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm. You may also send an email to [email protected].

Sending Song
My life goes on in endless song
Above earth´s lamentations, I hear the real, though far-off hymn That hails a new creation. No storm can shake my inmost calm, While to that rock I´m clinging. Since love prevails in heaven and earth How can I keep from singing? While though the tempest round me roars, I know the truth, it liveth. And though the darkness 'round me close, Songs in the night it giveth. No storm can shake my inmost calm, While to that rock I´m clinging. Since love prevails in heaven and earth How can I keep from singing? |
I lift my eyes the cloud grows thin
I see the blue above it, And day by day this pathway smooths Since first I learned to love it. No storm can shake my inmost calm I hear the music ringing It sounds an echo in my soul How can I keep from singing? How can I keep from singing? (repeat) Words and Music by Rev. Robert Lowry (1869) Arranged by Adam and Matt Podd Ó 2020 by Hal Leonard LLC |
