Welcome to the website of Glory Lutheran Church, a congregation in Sherwood Park.
We are a Christian community that is Scripture and Christ-centred in all we do, so that God's glory and love may be reflected to others through us. For this reason, worship is at the heart of our life together. The services, usually led by a praise band, are a blend of traditional hymns and liturgies and contemporary music and songs.
Glory Lutheran Church is a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Canada (ELCIC)
You are welcome to join us in worship, or visit us to see if God may be leading you to be a part of this faith community.

Guiding PrinciplesHow do we, as a congregation of believers, commit to living out our beliefs together?
Through the following principles, founded on the teachings of Scripture, we live out our beliefs and carry out our mission.

We respectfully acknowledge the territory in which we gather as the ancestral homelands of the Blackfoot, Gros Ventres, Cree, Saulteaux, Dene, Nakota Sioux and later the Métis.
These lands will continue to host many nations from all directions arriving by land, air and water. All inhabitants are responsible to each other, to the land, to the resources and to Treaty Six "as long as the sun shines, the grass grows and the river flows.”
