Community DevelopmentThis program supports community-based development programs that bring improvements in health, education, nutrition, agriculture, gender equality, environmental protection and more.
We Care Quilts and KitsWe quilts and kits collects goods like quilts, school and hygiene supplies, and medical equipment from donors across Canada and makes regular shipments to those in need overseas.
Emergency ReliefEmergency relief directs financial aid to areas affected by natural and human-made disasters through established emergency relief networks.

Refugee ResettlementRefugee resettlement assists refugees through the refugee application process, and works with Canadian groups and organisations to sponsor refugee’s resettlement in Canada.
We Serve: International Volunteer ServiceWe serve international volunteer service provides opportunities for Canadians to serve overseas in an international development setting.

Making Donations
Here’s how you can make a donation to support CLWR activities:
Option 1:
Using your regular offering envelope, designate your donation to CLWR or to a specific CLWR activity. Please make cheques payable to Glory Lutheran Church. The donation will be forwarded to the Alberta Synod and then on to the ELCIC. Tax receipts will be issued by Glory Lutheran Church.
Option 2:
Send your donation directly to the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Canada (ELCIC). Special envelopes are available on the display table in the Narthex. Make out your cheque to ELCIC. Tax receipts will be issued by the ELCIC.
