Prayer Chain“They all joined together constantly in prayer” (Acts 1:14) God has given us prayer as our vital connection with Him. We have a wonderful opportunity to show our love and care for one another in this church family by participating in a Prayer Chain. The emergency telephone prayer chain communicates urgent prayer requests to people who will pray for the person in need. As a member of the Prayer Chain Team you will be asked to pray for congregation members, their loved ones and members of the community seeking the collective prayer of this congregation. All information will be held in confidence. If you have a prayer request please contact the Pastor at the Church Office (780.416.9594). Anyone wishing to become a “link” in this very important ministry please contact Donna through the Church Office. |
Secret Prayer MinistryEach year as Advent approaches, an open invitation is extended for individuals to participate in prayer ministry for one another for the next year. Here is how this ministry works: Once you have selected a name, you are invited to pray for that person throughout the year. You may also wish to remember that person with a card on their birthday and anniversary dates. It has become custom to identify yourself to the person for whom you have been praying at the end of the year. Several people have chosen to identify themselves to their prayer partner with a small gift at our Advent Banquet or at church on a Sunday in December. Please consider becoming involved in this worthwhile ministry. Keep an eye on the Newsletter and E-News for important dates! |
