Welcome & CONFESSION AND FORGIVENESS
Almighty God, you wonderfully created the dignity of human nature and of all creatures. And yet more wonderfully restored them. In your mercy, let us share the divine life of the one who came to share our creatureliness - Jesus Christ, your Son, our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit. One God, now and forever. Amen.

Angels must have sung with joy, heav’n and earth were joined
We were sent a gift of love when the King was born. Wisemen followed stars at night bringing gifts of love When the gift was really ours, sent from heav’n above. Angels watching from above o’er the gift of love. When we hear the angels sing, we’ll have a clearer sign Of the joy that heaven felt on that Christmas night. May we feel what heaven felt On that Christmas night. |
OFFERTORY Prayer
God of all goodness,
Generations have turned to you, gathered around your table, and shared your abundant blessings.
Number us among them that, as we gather these gifts from your abundance, and give thanks for your rich blessings, we may feast upon your very self and care for all that you have made, through Jesus Christ, our Sovereign and Servant.
Amen

The Lord's Prayer
Our Father, who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name;
thy kingdom come;
thy will be done;
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation;
but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom,
the power and the glory,
for ever and ever.
Amen.
hallowed be thy name;
thy kingdom come;
thy will be done;
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation;
but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom,
the power and the glory,
for ever and ever.
Amen.

A NOTE OF GRATITUDE FROM GLORY’S CHURCH COUNCIL:
We would like to thank you, the members of Glory Lutheran Church, for your faithful giving during this pandemic!
Your unwavering support and generosity means that, financially, we were able to meet our commitments for the past few months – including the land purchase and a reduction to the principal of the building mortgage!
Donations made by December 31, 2020 have the additional benefit of providing you with a tax credit in the 2020 year.
May God fill your life with love, joy and peace this holiday season and throughout the new year.
FULFILLING GOD’S VISION FOR OUR LAND: THE NEXT CHAPTER
Dear Glory Family,
We are pleased to announce that the land purchase, placement of the mortgage with Servus and the payout of the ELCIC mortgage are now complete! The support of our members and the work of the stewardship and fundraising teams in making this happen in a very difficult time is remarkable!
Thanks to everyone for their efforts!
Have a Blessed Christmas, please stay safe over the holidays and all the best in 2021!
Best regards,
Aroon Sequeira, FCA, FCBV, ICD.D
