SUNDAY SCHOOL!…a unique time set aside for kids during the church service
Following the kids story time, children are led to the Sunday school rooms or outside to participate in their own church time. Children will learn about God’s word, participate in crafts or games, share their offerings and pray together as a Sunday school family. At the conclusion of Sunday School, children are led back to join their families in the worship service. You may have noticed that a lantern is carried out of the sanctuary and then brought back in when the children rejoin us. The lantern stays lit during Sunday School and is a way of showing that we are still connected as a church body even though we exit for a little while. As well this lantern reminds us that Jesus is the Light of the World and as Christians it is our privilege to share this light with others. |
If you are interested in becoming a teacher or a helper for Sunday School, please talk to Susan Ronsko or Jenny Takenaka…we’d love to have you join the team!
